EMC Captiva channel partners deliver award-winning input management solutions from an industry leader. With EMC, channel partners enjoy unmatched levels of flexibility and freedom.

Typically, channel partners include organizations that market enterprise content management products, scanner manufacturers, imaging applications, and vertical industry applications requiring data entry. Channel partners also include those promoting enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM).

Distribution partners

EMC reserves premium partnership opportunities for national or global distributors who confidently forecast a volume of sales commensurate with distribution through an entire network of resellers.

Reseller partners

By far the largest of Captiva partnerships, this partnership opportunity targets all resellers—from smaller, regional value-added resellers (VARs) to national VARs and global or government-level system integrators.

We offer the opportunity to become an authorized partner to resellers who proactively promote one or more EMC Captiva applications as part of their core offerings. Authorized reseller partners are certified annually, on the contract's anniversary. Product discount rates are determined at that time and ramp with increased sales volumes. The certification fee also includes training discounts, sales and marketing collateral, and demonstration software.

Certified partners benefit from product discounts as well as their own professional service earnings. EMC offers a QuickStart package to assist new partners in their first engagement or alternatively subcontract professional service efforts to the partner.

Platinum reseller partners

Designed for solution providers driving significant sales volumes, this partnership level provides all the benefits of authorized partnerships plus preferred access to leads and a dedicated field resource. Besides software, sales and technical training, and integration tools, platinum reseller partners receive enterprise-level demonstration software, higher product and support discounts, local sales support, and additional training.

EMC Captiva Partner Program upgrade policy

EMC encourages all partners to step up to the next level of our Channel Partner Program. EMC will apply the initial cost of certification comprising training and not for resale (NFR) software towards the cost of certification in the next partner program level.
